Queen Ann's Lace Pottery: Betty Printy from Southeastern Iowa , Potter
This special design pottery is an original creation of the blending of wild flowers and clay. Each piece has its own fresh flower pressed into the clay. In firing the flower burns away, leaving the unique impression of that blossom. Production is limited to the availability of the flowers. This pottery is not only pieces of art to collect and enjoy, but all the pottery is intended for daily use--safe for ovens, dishwashers and microwaves. Stoneware and glazes are free from lead and toxic materials. QAL pottery comes in country blue and gray; forest green and white; and brown and white, made with locally-dug clay.
